About this Destination
Someshwar Waterfalls, affectionately known by locals as the "Dudhsagar Waterfall of Nashik", is one of the city's most beloved natural leisure spots. Formed where the Godavari river cascades over rock ledges, the churning white froth gives it its famous milky appearance.
Next to the falls stands the ancient Someshwar Mahadev Temple surrounded by tall shady trees and family picnic lawns. A favourite hangout for students from nearby College Road and Gangapur Road colleges, it is packed with lively street food stalls serving hot bhutta (roasted corn), misal pav, and spiced tea.
